Fixing new wiper blades for your Chevy Malibu

There are certain maintenance tasks that you can handle by yourself. One such task is fixing new wiper blades. In this section, we will explain how you can do this in a few steps:

Step 1 – Know the part of the blade that you need to change. When changing wiper blades, you are only changing the detachable part, not the whole wiper.

Step 2 – Check for the size of your wiper blades. You can do this by checking the owner’s manual or measure the current blades. Also, you can read through articles like this one online.

Step 3 – Raise the wiper arm at an angle of about 90 degrees from the windshield.

Step 4 – Unhook the current wiper blade. Be careful not to bend or damage the wiper arm.

Step 5 – Fix the new wiper blade by sliding it in and pivoting it until you hear a snapping sound. The sound means that it is now in place.

Step 6 – Repeat the process for the second wiper blade.

Step 7 – Return the wiper arms to the regular positions.
