How to Replace Your Wiper Blades

Step 1: Watch out for your wipers

Before anything else, you need to watch out for your current wiper blades. How they perform will show you when they need replacement. There are several signs you should watch out for. One of them includes a screeching, scratching, squeaking, or slapping sound while the wipers are in motion. Another is streaking on the windshield as the wipers work.

Your eyes and ears should be on the ground while your wipers are working. If you notice any of these signs, it means that it is time to replace your current wipers. However, whether they show these signs or not, note that you should replace your wiper blades every six months.

Step 2: Clean wiper blades that make streaks
